If you want naturally clean linens and clothes without the toxins found in conventional products, this is for you! One of the many reasons that many people turn to essential oils is to help create a naturally clean home, and the laundry room is no exception. Try some of these favorite, simple DIYs to freshen and clean your laundry with essential oils!

Laundry Scent Booster

Stain Removal Spray

  • 2 oz glass spray bottle
  • Fill almost halfway with hydrogen peroxide
  • Fill almost the remaining half with Thieves Household Cleaner
  • Add 10 drops Lemon and about 1 tsp Thieves Dish Soap
  • Shake well before use.

Stain Stick

  • 30mL roller bottle
  • Fill just under half with Thieves Dish Soap
  • Add 10 drops Lemon essential oil
  • Fill the remainder with Thieves Household Cleaner
  • Use to spot treat any stains before washing!
  • Alternatively, you can simply apply Thieves Dish Soap directly to the stain, scrub gently with a laundry brush and let it sit. Wash per usual!

Laundry Stripping Solution

  • 1 cup Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Borax
  • ½ cup Thieves Laundry Soap
  • ¼ cup Thieves Household Cleaner
  • 4 capfuls Thieves Fruit & Veggie Soak
  • 5 drops each Lemongrass, Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Lemon
  • Mix all into very hot water. Add linens and let soak for a couple hours, stirring every so often. Squeeze out water, rinse and wash per usual.

Scented Dryer Balls (replaces dryer sheets!)

  • Wool dryer balls
  • 2-3 drops essential oils of choice per ball
  • Apply oils to the dryer balls, then turn on the dryer for a few minutes without any clothes. Then add clothes and dry as usual! Replace the oil every few loads.
